Fordable Property & Finance primary business is Mortgage Broking. We have Mortgage Brokers based in Newcastle and Sydney whilst also providing our Mortgage Broking services to clients across Australia.

During this period Fordable Mortgage Brokers continually support their clients to provide an amazing experience, monitoring industry changes, educating clients on what home loan products are available to them and constantly keeping our clients best interest at heart. Our Mortgage Brokers strategise, plan, implement, review and work to achieve our clients lifetime goals and objectives.

Fordable holds a Credit Representative Number for our Finance & Mortgage Broking services operating under the Connective Credit Services Pty Ltd Australian Credit Licence (ACL) 389328. Fordable does not hold an Australian Financial Services (AFS) licence. It is our Financial Planning partners we work with whom provide the advice and they hold the appropriate licences and qualifications for their service.

Steph Ford is the Founder and Managing Director of Fordable Property & Finance, where he advises growth-focused professionals, executives, and business owners on using strategic property acquisition to build enduring wealth.

His investment journey began in 2004 with the purchase of a modest Sydney unit, guided by his father, a seasoned real estate professional. At the time, Steph saw property simply as ownership. It wasn’t until a decade later when he unlocked significant equity to expand his portfolio that he fully grasped the power of leverage, compounding growth, and strategic finance. That realisation transformed his approach from passive ownership to deliberate wealth architecture.

Over the following years, Steph expanded his portfolio across multiple states, navigating market cycles, development projects, and Self-Managed Super Fund investing. Experiencing both strong gains and underperforming assets gave him a balanced, long-term investor mindset grounded in risk management, patience, and disciplined decision-making.

By 2017, his growing portfolio had evolved into a structured strategy that would later become Fordable’s signature framework: the $6m Retirement Plan - a methodical approach to acquiring quality investment assets designed to produce financial freedom and lifestyle optionality.

Today, Steph works with ambitious clients who want more than a single property, they want a clear pathway to scalable wealth. His role extends beyond arranging finance; he acts as a strategic partner, helping clients align lending structures with long-term portfolio growth and legacy planning.
